What happens in a consultation?

-We discuss your hair goals, the products and techniques we can use to achieve those goals, and schedule your appointment.

How do I schedule an appointment?

What if I need to change my appointment?

How do I pay for services? Will I be billed automatically?

-Once your service is complete, you will receive an invoice by text or email. You can pay directly through your mobile device.

Do you ONLY do Locs? Do you offer other styles?

Do you do braids or other Extension styles?

Do you do faux locs?

-No, unless they are installed by the crochet method.    

Do you do color services?

-Yes. A consultation is required before scheduling.    

I don’t see the service I want in the menu, does that mean it’s not available?

-Some services are uncommon, so they are not listed. However, we can discuss it and possibly still schedule.

I see a service I want, but I cannot schedule it online, does that mean it’s no longer available?

-Some specialty services can only be booked at the stylist’s discretion. (I will book it for you.)

Are weekend appointments available?

-Yes, but by request only. I will book it for you.    

Do locs make your hair grow?

- Locs give the appearance of faster hair growth because all of the hair that sheds from your scalp is bound into the loc.    

DO I HAVE TO CUT MY HAIR OFF TO TAKE THEM OUT?

-No, they can be combed out.  It is a very time-consuming process, but completely possible.

Can I shampoo my locs? 

-Yes, and you shoud. However, I recommend maintenance with each shampoo within the first 3 months. 

DO I HAVE TO HAVE A SMALL LOCS TO GET STYLES?

-No.

WILL MY LOCS STAY THIS SMALL  (COILS)?

-No Locs usually mature to a size that is slightly larger than the starter locs.

CAN I COLOR MY LOCS? 

-Yes, but it can possibly slow down the locking process, especially on looser curl patterns. It is best to color the hair before locking it, or wait until it buds.

WHAT IF I HAVE STRAIGHT ENDS?  DO I HAVE TO CUT THEM OFF? 

-No.
